Texas Utility Program Submissions (ICF-run programs)

Modified on Tue, 26 Jun 2018 at 11:30 AM

Ekotrope Projects can be submitted directly to any ICF-run Texas utility program through Ekotrope.  There is no file upload required with Ekotrope - you will just need to submit the project, then copy and paste a submission ID into the Program Online Intake Tool.

First, submit the Ekotrope project to the Texas ICF Incentive Program by clicking "Submit Project" --> "Texas ICF Incentive".

You will be presented with a successful submission popup that includes a Submission ID (see below).  Copy this submission ID by double-clicking it and enter the ID into the Online Intake Tool where it asks for the Ekotrope submission ID.

After you click "OK", the Submission ID will be added to the project notes, which can be accessed from the project dashboard.

You will also need to ensure that the home is at least 5% more efficient that the Texas utility program baseline home.  This can be determined by accessing the report titled "Texas ICF 2018 Fuel Summary Comparison" and finding the Total [Electric kWh] % Saved figure (8.9% in the below image).  This report will need to be downloaded from Ekotrope as a PDF and uploaded to the Online Intake Tool along with the Ekotrope Submission ID.
