Ekotrope Projects can be submitted directly to the Duke HERO Program through Ekotrope. There is no file upload required with Ekotrope - you will just need to submit the project, then copy and paste a submission ID into the Duke HERO Program Online Intake Tool (OIT).
First, submit the Ekotrope project to the Duke HERO Program by clicking "Submit Project" --> "Duke HERO Program".
You will be presented with a dialog that shows whether the home meets the North Carolina HERO Code, and what the projected rebates will be. If everything looks OK, you may click "Submit".
You will be presented with a successful submission popup that includes a Submission ID (see below). Copy this submission ID by double-clicking it, and enter the ID into the Online Intake Tool (OIT) where it asks for the Ekotrope submission ID.
After you click "OK", the Submission ID will be added to the project notes, which can be accessed from the project dashboard.
