Texas AEP Rebate Structure

2024

2024 incentives were implemented for projects that were submitted to AEP on or after 1/1/2024. Tier 3 Heat Pump HSPF mandatory requirement was updated to 7.8. Bonus incentive amounts were updated, and the 'Affordable/Low Income Housing' incentive was removed.



2023


2022

For 2022, bonuses can stack with each other, but each type of bonus can only be applied once per home.

NOTE: the heat pump install bonus is incorrectly listed in the table as 9.0 HSPF--it should be 8.5 HSPF for a 16 SEER Heat Pump AC.



2020

In addition to the requirements listed in the table below, the home also needs to exceed the baseline electricity performance by at least 5% and must pass one of the following energy codes: IECC 2015 Prescriptive, IECC 2015 Performance, Texas 2015 ERI, ENERGY STAR v3.1.
