The Duke DEC rebate structure on Ekotrope is as follows:
If the home has all-electric heating, the heating savings will be calculated at $0.40 / kWh and all other savings will be at $0.75 / kWh.
If the home has any type of gas heating, all savings will be at $0.75 / kWh.
Note: dual fuel systems are considered gas.
- If the home has electric baseboard (no gas) that would fall under the all-electric heating savings at $0.40/kWh, and all other savings at $0.75/kWh.
Total rebate amounts are are capped at $6,000.
HERO (High-Efficiency Residential Option) - only is $650 / home.
15 SEER Equipment-only incentives are $300.
