If applicable/visible, Rater/RFI verifies and documents the correct Framed Floors areas, types, exposures, floor coverings (and R-values), insulation types and R-values (this does not include framed floors between stories inside the thermal envelope). Framed floors should be separately verified as covered or exposed.
- Be sure that where multiple framed floor types exist, they are documented separately, including where their “location” with respect to conditioned areas of the home may vary between framed floor types and within the same type.
SCORING: (These errors are assessed per framed floor, the same error can occur multiple times on each floor that exists and should be added to the overall total) "Satisfactory": No errors in verification "1": One to two errors (listed below) "2": Three to four errors (listed below) "3": Five or more errors (listed below) "N/A": No Framed Floors in the home.
GUIDANCE: Framed Floor Verification Errors - The Rater/RFI can correctly identify or determine the following items (if installed at the time of the pre-drywall inspection): * Insulation Location * Insulation R-Value * Insulation depth * Framed Floor Construction type * Framed Floor Surface Area * Framed Floor Location & Exposure * Floor Covering and R-value for each Framed Floor section
