PHOTO REQUIRED of LTO Test Results per ANSI/RESNET/ICC 301 APPENDIX B and HERS® Standards Chapter 9. If TDL result was used in place of LTO test result, then photo of TDL test results would be required in lieu of photo of LTO test results. Raters/RFIs are responsible for documenting reasons for missing photos. Duct leakage is tested according to ANSI/RESNET/ICC 380. A photo of the Duct Leakage equipment setup clearly showing the location and hose set up of the system is recommended.

• TDL has no energy effect on the RESNET model; LTO does have an energy effect.
• Although many compliance programs allow TDL to be input into the software as LTO, and vice versa, documentation should represent which test was used.
• Locations for the test (return register, return trunkline or air handler, supply register or supply trunkline) should be documented and ideally reproduced for Field QA Review testing.
