PHOTO REQUIRED of all refrigerator/freezer nameplates/model numbers (if installed) or empty spaces (if not installed) per HERS® Standards Chapter 9. Raters/RFIs are responsible for documenting reasons for missing photos. If multiple refrigerators/freezers are present in the Rated Home, a photo must be taken of each one.
SCORING:
"Satisfactory": When all mandatory photos are taken by Rater/RFI and no errors below occur
"Unsatisfactory": When one or more errors below occur
"Missing Photo": When one or more mandatory photos are not taken by Rater/RFI
"Unsatisfactory + Missing Photo": When one or more errors below occur and all mandatory photos are not taken by Rater/RFI
GUIDANCE: Refrigerators Verification Errors - The Rater/RFI can correctly identify or determine the following items: * If present, location of model number on refrigerator/freezer * If present, kWh/yr from EnergyGuide * If an EnergyGuide is not present, what determines the default value of kWh/yr for Refrigerators (Number of Bedrooms) * What to do when multiple refrigerators/freezers are present (capture kWh/yr for all installed and add together) * What to do when refrigerator/freezer is not installed (HERS Reference based on Nbr Bedrooms) * Location of proposed installation site or installed refrigerators/freezers (Conditioned Space or Outside Conditioned Space)
