Rater/RFI verifies and documents the correct roof properties (exterior color, radiant barrier, clay tile or concrete roofing, and sub-tile ventilation).
- Verifies that, in general, areas of pitched roofs are greater than the flat ceiling area.
- Verifies whether the radiant barrier material is in contact with another material other than roof trusses (e.g. foam insulation is sprayed to the inside of the radiant barrier material if on the underside of the roof sheathing). If so, then the radiant barrier material will most likely not operate as intended.
SCORING: "Satisfactory" when correct and "Unsatisfactory" when incorrect.
