PHOTOS REQUIRED per HERS® Standards Chapter 9 of all four elevations (front, back, left, and right sides). Additional photos might be required to show additional construction details that might not be visible from a straight elevation photo. Raters/RFIs are responsible for collecting these photos on every rating. For Multifamily Projects, a single set of elevation photos is sufficient. These photos are required to verify whether a site inspection occurred and if any plan changes visible from the exterior were made.
SCORING: "Satisfactory": When all mandatory photos are taken by Rater/RFI and no errors below occur "Unsatisfactory": When one or more errors below occur "Missing Photo": One or more of the mandatory photos are missing, but no errors in modeling "Unsatisfactory + Missing Photo": When one or more errors below occur and/or all mandatory photos are not taken by Rater/RFI
GUIDANCE: * Any plan changes visible from the exterior are noted by the Rater/RFI * With plans present - plan changes visible from the exterior are noted by the Rater/RFI, i.e. can be marked on plans or data collection form * Without plans present - the Rater/RFI can document and identify the relevant details for visible Minimum Rated Features
