How does the Billing Dashboard work?

Modified on Thu, 9 May at 10:14 AM

The Billing Dashboard in Ekotrope allows Providers to have a clear picture of all billing events occurring in their providership. These events can be sorted by date range, event type, user, organization, project name, project ID, and other fields. The dashboard data can also be downloaded as a CSV file for further analysis in Excel.

The Dashboard is only accessible to Ekotrope users with the Provider Admin and Billing Admin roles in Ekotrope. Below, you will find an outline of the 4 billing event types found on the Dashboard.

Billing Event Types

Downloaded premium reports, code only

Homes with this event type have downloaded a premium report and indicated that the Ekotrope Project will not become HERS Rated, and they will incur the charge associated with an Energy Code Only Home.

Downloaded premium reports with intent to submit to RESNET

Homes with this event type have downloaded a premium report and indicated that the Ekotrope Project will become HERS Rated. They will incur the charge associated with a HERS Rating Credit. The credit usage will be incurred at the time of premium report download, and not at the time of RESNET Registration.

Submitted to RESNET as intended

Homes with this event type have previously downloaded a premium report and indicated that the Ekotrope Project will become HERS Rated. This project has already utilized a HERS Rating Credit at the time of premium report download. This billing event type does not incur any fee and allows Providers to verify if projects went on to be HERS Rated or not.

Submitted to RESNET

Homes with this event type were registered with RESNET without previously downloading premium reports indicating intent to submit to the registry.. These projects will utilize a HERS Rating Credit as normal.

The billing dashboard updates daily, so any information shown will be accurate as of the day before. If a project is initially indicated as Downloaded premium reports, code only, and then becomes HERS Rated, it will add the Submitted to RESNET billing event type. If this action happens on the same day, then the project will only show as Submitted to RESNET.

The goal of the billing dashboard is to give Providerships a tool to break down all billing events under their providership. Please reach out to support@ekotrope.com with any additional questions.
