Sometimes Ekotrope Support will ask for the browser console log which often contains important details about why an error is occurring. This article describes how to view this log and how to save a copy of it that can then be sent to Ekotrope Support when using the Google Chrome web browser.
- While in the Ekotrope RATER tool, after you've encountered the error in question.
- Open the chrome menu by clicking the three dots in the top right corner of the window
- In the "More tools" menu, select "Developer tools"
- In the window or panel that appears, select the "Console" tab
- Right click in the console output area (above or below the blue arrow) and select "Save as..."
- Save the file to your desktop
