If applicable/visible, Rater/RFI verifies and documents the correct rim and band joist surface areas, joist spacings, locations and insulation R-values, thicknesses and grades. Where multiple rim/band joists types exist, they are handled separately, including where their “location” with respect to conditioned areas of the home may vary between rim and band types and within the same rim and band type. Photos of R-Value and Grading is recommended but not required.

"Unsatisfactory": When incorrect
"N/A": No Rim/Band Joists in the home
