PHOTO REQUIRED of all Clothes Washer nameplate/model number (if installed) or empty space (if not installed) per HERS® Standards Chapter 9. Raters/RFIs are responsible for documenting reasons for missing photos. Rater/RFI verifies and documents the correct clothes washer location, and whether it is installed at time of final inspection for new homes. If a washer is installed, Rater/RFI verifies and documents the correct information from the EnergyGuide if present. Rater/RFI documents which source they use and verifies supporting documentation (photo of nameplate w/ model #). If the builder provides this appliance and it is not present during the Confirmed Rating, the Rater/RFI should verify supporting documentation in form of spec sheet/purchase order from the builder.
