PHOTO REQUIRED of all dishwasher nameplates/model numbers (if installed) or empty spaces (if not installed) per HERS® Standards Chapter 9. Raters/RFIs are responsible for documenting reasons for missing photos. Rater/RFI correctly verifies and documents whether dishwashers are installed at time of final inspection for new homes. If not installed, but the builder provides this appliance, the Rater/RFI verifies supporting documentation in form of spec sheet/purchase order from the builder.
SCORING:
"Satisfactory": When all mandatory photos are taken by Rater/RFI and no errors below occur
"Unsatisfactory": When one or more errors below occur
"Missing Photo": When one or more mandatory photos are not taken by Rater/RFI
"Unsatisfactory + Missing Photo": When one or more errors below occur and all mandatory photos are not taken by Rater/RFI
GUIDANCE: Dishwashers Verification Errors - The Rater/RFI can correctly identify or determine the following items: * If present, location of model number on dishwasher * If present, any characteristics from EnergyGuide that would allow for a non-HERS Reference default to be used in the model (i.e. ENERGY STAR Logo) * If present, all fields that need to be captured from EnergyGuide for Rating (Efficiency Type, kWh, Size, Natural Gas Operating Cost, Gas Rate, Electric Rate) * What to do when multiple dishwashers are present (use the location that represents the majority of power consumption) * What to do when dishwasher is not installed (HERS Reference) * Location of proposed installation site or installed dishwasher (Conditioned Space or Outside Conditioned Space)
