Rater/RFI verifies and documents the thermostat's correct type of control system(s) (programmable vs. non-programmable). In most cases, all the thermostats in a house will be of the same type. When different HVAC systems have different types of thermostats, default to non-programmable, unless the programmable system(s) are clearly dominant for controlling the heating/cooling loads.
