On ridealong Field QA Reviews (remote or in-person), does Rater/RFI verify and document the correct areas, door construction types, R-values, door seal, and wall assignments.
- For new doors, best practice is to collect NFRC labels and photographs. NFRC rating labels often list many configurations of the door, so verify that the information matches the specific door type.
- If a door with fenestration is present, the entire door area should be modeled as Fenestration if it is > 50% Fenestration.

"Satisfactory": When correct
"Unsatisfactory": When incorrect
"N/A": No Opaque Doors present in the home
GUIDANCE: Doors (opaque) Errors - The Rater/RFI can correctly identify or determine the following items: * As-Built Opaque Door Area matches Plans or other backup * Construction Type of Opaque Door * As-Built Opaque Door Performance from NFRC labels * If NFRC labels are not present, identify alternative methods to determine Opaque Door Performance using known door characteristics (contact RESNET for guidance) * Presence of door seal * Opaque Door Wall Assignment
