If TDL result was used in place of LTO test result, then photo of TDL test results would be required in lieu of photo of LTO test results. Raters/RFIs are responsible for documenting reasons for missing photos. Duct leakage is tested according to ANSI/RESNET/ICC 380.

• TDL has no energy effect on the RESNET model; LTO does have an energy effect.
• Although many compliance programs allow TDL to be input into the software as LTO, and vice versa, documentation should represent which test was used.
• Locations for the test (return register, return trunkline or airhandler, supply register or supply trunkline) should be documented and ideally reproduced for Field QA Review testing.

SCORING:

• Satisfactory: Less than 10% variance between QAD result and Rater/RFI result
• 1: 10% to less than 15% variance between QAD result and Rater/RFI result
• 2: 15% to 25% variance between QAD result and Rater/RFI result
• 3: Greater than 25% variance between QAD result and Rater/RFI result
